I have hand cut a copper disc and then hand drawn my sun and wave design to be etched into the metal. It has been hammered to a concave shape and given an oxidized patina along with a clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the finish. I have added the pendant to a strand of 6mm amethyst beads and nuggets with one accent bead of turquoise howlite representing the wave. The beads have been joined to a strand of black 1mm leather cord tied in "Spanish Knots" and embellished with copper beads. I have added a small heart charm to the side of the necklace. The pendant measures 1 1/4 inches in diameter and the overall length of the necklace is 18 inches.
