A small metal etched Fleur de Lis is the subject of this pendant. It has been created by cutting a small piece of copper sheet metal and adding the design by stamping. The process is then finished with a process called metal etching. I have oxidized the pendant and given it a clear coat of jewelry lacquer to protect the finish. This pendant is 1 inch x 5/8 inch.
I have added the pendant to a strand of mixed shapes of yellow jade beads, some of which are faceted, and various shades of yellows. The beads are 6mm and 3mm. I then finished the look with dark brown leather 1mm cord tied with "Spanish" knots and embellished with copper beads.
The overall length of this necklace is 18 inches.
